Toned down polish

I hate having bare nails, but this rotation demands a professional appearance. That means no bright neon nail polish colors.

During the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, I took the dive into Butter London nail polish. I chose a color that wasn’t too trendy. At $14 a bottle, I wanted a color that would last a while!

I also came across Venique nail polish and their topcoat. The concept of Venique is that it promises a vinyl look. As a top coat, it worked wonders! It basically filled in brush stroke residue and made a smooth top.

The only bad thing about the top coat is that it is not the kind where you can layer everyday for a prolonged sheen and protection. It actually kinda bubbles on the nail if it’s too thick.

I’m so excited for fall since neutrals are back for the season!
